Modern Warfare 4’s Cachette map has a 3D printer that prints out guns for players to use, and you can end up with some pretty deadly weapons.
Over the years, Call of Duty has baked in some easter egg weapons throughout the campaign and multiplayer. At times, players have had to jump through some hoops to get their hands on them, but others have just been hidden in plain sight, only spotted by eagle-eyed fans.
With the release of Modern Warfare 4, players have noted that the Cachette map in multiplayer has an armory that contains a 3D printer.
Now, most players will run past this, but if you stop, wait for a few moments, and break it open, the 3D printer will actually drop a weapon that you can pick up and use.
What guns are 3D-printed on Cachette in MW4?
Redditor muggs1213 highlighted the find on October 24, noting that they’ve found several different “random” weapons from the printer.
“Unsure how many guns there are, I did see repeats, so the attachments aren't randomized,” they pointed out.
The guns they’ve found include the PPSH, Obrez Mosin Nagant, Type 73, Cronen Squall, Sang Breach, KG-7 Vulcan, Axion Reaver, and Oris 8.6.
“Holy shit, I didn’t realize you could pick them up,” one player said. “That's actually so cool,” another added. “This is a nod to DMZ, where we have to 3d print guns and items to use,” another replied. “I have played that map 200 times and never looked up once,” another player chimed in.
Muggs1213 also noted that there is a 3D-printed camo in-game; however, that may not be obtainable at the moment.
Their video has already been reshared on social media too, with other players confirming the 3D printer does work. However, the randomization means you may not see the same guns in back-to-back lobbies.
If you’re playing Cachette, you’ll have to watch your corners for campers, including Erling Haaland. The footballing superstar admitted he is a lifelong camper in Call of Duty.
