After its humble beginnings as a visual web novel series, Solo Leveling truly put itself on the mainstream map with two adrenaline-pumped animated seasons that have left fans clamoring for more. As if it couldn't get any better, the series came to the videogame medium last year in the form of Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE, albeit only on PC.
However, more players will soon get to step into the shoes of Sung Jinwoo himself soon enough, as the game is set to expand to other platforms.
Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE Comes to Consoles in November
Per an announcement from developer Netmarble Neo and their publisher, Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE is coming to both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles on November 3, 2026 at 4:00 PM PT (7:00PM ET). The game first launched exclusively on PC back in late November 2025 on both the Steam and Microsoft Store, so this expansion to more platforms arrives just in time for its one-year anniversary.
The game is set as a futuristic action hack-and-slash RPG in Sung Jinwoo's native stomping grounds. It features both singleplayer and online co-op gameplay and focuses primarily on boss rush-style progression and dungeon grinding rather than a narrative-driven experience.
If you're a fan that's looking for more involvement of the story than mostly action, this may not necessarily be the type of experience you seek. Nonetheless, the game includes a variety of familiar faces from the source material, such as Sung Jinwoo's sidekick, Yoo Jinho. Others include Cha Hae-in, Choi Jong-in, and more.
Many of the beloved shadow summons from the anime and web novel also make their dramatic appearance, including Igris, Tank, Greed, Tusk, Kaisel, the infamous Beru, and more. The game has plenty to keep players busy in terms of the grind, especially its weapon-crafting system, and it's sure to play just as well on controllers come launch.
Along with a basic version of the game, if you want to get even more invested, there's also a Deluxe version of the game that comes with a variety of in-game cosmetics. Additionally, there's also the Jeju Island Raid Special Pack that dropped earlier this summer.
November Set to be a Packed Month of Gaming
The shadow drop of Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE is yet another title set to fill up November's packed schedule of gaming even more. At the forefront of the month's releases is, of course, Grand Theft Auto 6 on November 19.
However, while the world waits with bated breath for the biggest game of the year, there are still plenty of other titles to look forward to. Nintendo's undeniably beautiful remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time helps kick off the month on November 5. Literally the day before that, World of Warcraft: Forever rings in its official launch on November 4 after an astronomically successful beta.

While most upcoming indie titles are undoubtedly more shy about debuting in the goliath-sized shadow of GTA 6, there are still some to look forward to throughout the month. Escape Academy 2 drops on November 5 as well, while Ashes of the Singularity 2 arrives a bit later on November 10. For all Warhammer fans out there, Warhammer Survivors also comes out on November 10.
So, while a certain Rockstar IP will have a chunk of the world coming to a literal standstill in the second half of November (good luck with Thanksgiving get-togethers), there are plenty of other games to keep players busy before, during (if you're not digging the Miami vibe), and after until an arguably even busier Spring 2027 season.
Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE is currently available to play on PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store. On November 3, 2026 it will expand to both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles.
